OUT TAKES ON INCUBATOR FEATURES TAKE 1

Learning about hatching decided there were no good videos about what  you needed  in an incubator what it should have etc.SO CONFUSING.
Tried to do my own video..turned out to me harder than I thought and  crying funny..hope you like them...so here are (hopefully) my out takes

 

HOPE SOUNDS COMES UP ON THIS OR ITS NOT WORTH A THING!

JUne  2012  SAw Lavedner Orpinton chicknes and HASD to hav ethat color!Could not find any in MO only 5 hours aa yso then sawe they sell EGGs on EBAY!!!
Bought a bator from  off  Ebay also Didn't know what I needed the most on one Heat has to be 99.5 So in i jumped to hatching my own Ordered eggs...
REad all about it Put them in 99.5  Humidity 50
21days later chicks!!EASY!!
3 weeks later to m y supreme disappointment no  chicks hatched ..Was so disaponte then mad...bought moreeggs..tried again .3 weksalter....dsay 21 nothing, day 22 nothing, day 23 nothing.
In the past 2 months ihad read up on incubating andfound the eggs need ot sit for 24hours if shilled and shipped  by the way dont hatch well. (NO KIDDING)

My temp had jumped all over the whole hatch a real stress point
 The temp needing to be  99.5  It was CRUCIAL i found
. So bought a SECOND incubator. A Genesis that holds the temp exact.Now its July 
Got my first chick!!! More followed the next 2-3-4 weeks as I continued to buy more and more  eggs

I must have set 300 eggs by late fall  but onle a few hatched of each set...still enough and oh yes I even set  them in fall .
HUGE mistake  Baby chick cant take the cold ...had to stay in
 Then it got Dec couldn't go out not grown yet...
Spring came none were acclimated to anything under 70 degree had to wait for warmer weather still.

Have you ever had a rooster crow in your bathroom?  A hen lay eggs in your bathroom?
It happened to me and the mess they all made .....well it aint pretty.NOT CLOSE

As the chicks came and spring too they needed more than the one coop I had built A lot more
So coops and runs  followed eggs...I now have 7 coops and runs I made myself as I had no money to buy coops for them all they had to be separate  eac htheir own to get pure breed eggs.

The Time; March 30 ,2012
Place ; Bonne Terre Mo
 Setting; Warm  early spring
  Warmth Already bringing the numerous yearly tick infestation on.
Getting dog bones at the Family Center looked at the chicks,.so cute never got any b/c  something
Commeserating to lady working about the tick problem  said chickens would help . but things would kill them..
She  told me she had chickens for 2 years nothing bothered them
Trying NOT to  jump in full force in seconds I  just bought  a book on raising chickens  and breeds...

Next day couldn't wait to buy some and get in whole Hog.
So much for going slowly .
Long Short bought 11 chicks

Now 1 1/2 years later I have 36  all total  including babies but all but the original( down to 5 now ) and 3 Silkies ibought as chicks...I hatched myself .

 4 breeds Brahmas(favorite for sweet temper) ,Orpingtons Color  & size  , Amercaunas color & blue  eggs and Silkies in  numerous colors.
